THE FEARLESS
THE FEARLESS is a 3-part long-form documentary series we created for VALORANT Esports, chronicling the full arc of the 2022 global competitive season. Each episode runs approximately 40 minutes and focuses on one of the year’s major international tournaments: Masters Reykjavík, Masters Copenhagen, and Champions Istanbul. Spanning the entire competitive calendar, the series allowed us to go beyond highlights and results — diving deep into the personal journeys of the game’s most iconic players and rising stars.
By following key protagonists across multiple events, we were able to explore narrative arcs that fans wouldn’t normally see: the grind, the heartbreak, the moments of doubt, and the rare glimpses of triumph behind the scenes.
This long-form format gave us the opportunity to tell richer, more emotional stories — revealing the human side of esports and capturing hero’s journeys from beginning to end, with all the stakes and setbacks in between.
