PHASEGUARD TRAILER

The Phaseguard trailer is a cinematic reimagining of VALORANT, inspired by the high-intensity look of military simulation (MilSim) 3D trailers. Reyna takes center stage as the reworked protagonist, redesigned with lifelike hair simulation, enhanced skin shaders, and a complete character remodel. Photorealistic lensing was composited in Nuke, modeled after real anamorphic glass, to give the trailer a grounded, immersive aesthetic that brings a new level of realism to the game’s world.

The edit was tightly boarded to follow a four-on-the-floor beat, with each visual cue landing perfectly in rhythm. This musical alignment creates a hypnotic, pulse-driven momentum that anchors the action. Every frame was built to feel deliberate, keeping the pacing tight and the energy constant.

Produced over roughly two and a half months, the trailer reflects a focused push to elevate VALORANT’s visual style. It’s more than just a skinline promo — it’s a gritty, high-fidelity vision of what the game could look and feel like through a cinematic, photoreal lens.
